Biography: Eduard Fatakhov, MD, is the co-author of “Dr. Fat-OFF Life-Long Weight-Loss Solutions” and founder and medical director of The Center for Internal & Integrative Medicine in Alpharetta, Georgia. Fatakhov, nicknamed Dr. “Fat-Off,” is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association and is dedicated to helping his patients lose weight and keep it off. He helps his clients find the root of their health problems, so they can achieve lasting health benefits. The board-certified physician is an expert in internal and integrative medicine and has experience as a personal trainer and nutritionist. He is an active member of the Obesity Medicine Association and the American College of Physicians.

Fatakhov was recognized with the Outstanding Resident in Volunteerism and Advocacy for the State of Georgia award in 2014. He is an active mentor for medical students at the American College of Physicians, as well as being an assistant professor of Clinical Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta State University. Fatakhov has co-authored three books and volunteers at the Healing Hands Clinic in Calhoun, Georgia. He has a diverse academic background earning his MD at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine, and his MBA at Davenport’s Donald W. Maine School of Business, specializing in healthcare management. Additionally, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Life University to become a clinical nutritionist. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University. Fatakhov speaks nationally about topics related to weight management.
